The IMTC was
founded in 1932 to promote and encourage foreign touring by motorcycle.
The Club does not organise sporting events and all club officials are
unpaid. We have approximately 450 members most of whom are in the UK, we
also have several members in the rest of Europe and North America.
PARTITOURS
Several tours are organised each year
to Europe and beyond. They vary in duration and some tours are designed
for inexperienced foreign tourists.
MAGAZINE
The Club Magazine is issued free to
all members throughout the year. It gives details of all official club
events. meeting places, Partitours etc. and contains accounts of members
touring experiences and requests for information
CLUB HANDBOOK
This is also issued free to members
and contains a list of members and countries recently visited. Members
listed are willing to give assistance and pass on information gained from
their foreign travels. Also listed are hotels and camp sites that have
been used by members. Details of Tourist Offices and hotel pro-forma in
French German, Italian Spanish and Portuguese.
GENERAL
The IMTC has over 450 members and can
help you find touring companions. will provide a social life with like
minded people whose interests are similar to your own. Many members have
considerable experience of travel to distant places and have been members
for many years. The club Tourider magazine gives details of the Regional
representatives. Foreign representatives and meeting places. You are
welcome to contact anyone whose phone number is listed.
