Easter 2010 : Cold adventures in Belgium
Easter saw a group of IMTC'ers off to Belgium. Despite the cold they got out and about, visiting the many battlefield sites in the area, including Sanctuary Wood, Tyne Cot, Essex Farm and the recently discovered Australian mass grave at Fromelles. Some even ventured further afield to visit the WW2 V2 launching complex known as 'La Coupoule' near St Omer. After all that sombre stuff the group recovered in true IMTC fashion with wining & dining at the Ariane Hotel in Ypres, except for the night they had a late dinner in order to witness the "Last Post" ceremony at the Menin Gate.
